Lots of Tour Announcements

If you read the club email last night and think you already know all this - you don't. The September tour dates/location have now been set. It will be Sept 15-17 and hosted by the Windsors at the Parry Sound KOA. What a great area for a September tour but be sure to pack your woollies just in case. The rest of this old news if you read the email.

If you haven't registered for the CanAm in Michigan, why not??? You'd better hurry. Details are available on the Casual T's website here. Also in May, we’ve been invited to take our T’s to visit the Hadfields' home in the Milton area on Sunday May 28. Further details will be sent out closer to the date.

The July tour has firmed up with new hosts: The Mortons! It's still planned for July 14-16 at the West Montrose Family Camp near Elmira. This campground works well for our group with an open area along the Grand River. There is lots of affordable dry camping space there and some spaces with hydro for extra cost. If you want an actual campsite you should book it ASAP. July is peak season and they'll be busy. Details for the tour will be released in due course but you can go ahead and book your camping spot anytime. Call them at 519-669-2129 or visit http://westmontrosecamp.com/ for more info.

Our August tour is now a joint tour with Horseless Carriage Club and HASC 35. Mark Schneider is working on behalf of our chapter with Jeff Campbell to host this in the St. Thomas area on August 18-20. Some info is available at http://hccaontario.ca/upcoming-events/ and details will be announced via the usual channels when available. The Bakers have postponed their travelling tour, originally scheduled for August 4-7, for at least a year.

It looks like another great season of touring coming up. Maybe you have an idea for an October tour you can share with our tour committee.
